The Prophet (PBUH) set an example through his own conduct, demonstrating how husbands should treat their wives with gentleness, love, and consideration. Rights and Responsibilities In an Islamic marriage, both partners have clearly defined rights and responsibilities. These guidelines help maintain harmony and balance within the relationship. Husbands are required to provide for their wives' financial needs, ensuring they have a comfortable and secure living environment. On the other hand, wives are expected to support and respect their husbands, contributing to the household's well-being in various ways. Mutual respect also extends to personal aspirations and goals. Both partners are encouraged to support each other's ambitions, whether in education, career, or personal development.
