Terms & Conditions - NikahNamah

Welcome to NikahNamah. Before using our platform or services, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By registering with or accessing NikahNamah, you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which form a binding agreement between you and NikahNamah Muslim Matrimonial.

1 User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register with NikahNamah.
By registering, you confirm that you are legally eligible to enter into a marriage contract under applicable Indian law.
NikahNamah reserves the right to verify your eligibility and request supporting documentation at any time.
Profiles found to belong to individuals below 18 years of age will be immediately deactivated and associated data deleted.

2 Registration & Account

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your registered mobile number and communication with your RM.
You must update your information whenever details change.
Only one active profile per individual is allowed.
Profiles containing false or misleading information may be rejected or suspended.

3 Matchmaking Service & Relationship Manager

After successful registration and fee payment, a dedicated Relationship Manager (RM) will be assigned.
Your RM will suggest suitable profiles based on your stated preferences.
NikahNamah acts solely as a matrimonial facilitator and does not guarantee successful matches.
All introductions are professionally mediated through your assigned RM.

4 Fees & Payment Terms

Registration fees are payable upfront and are strictly non-refundable.
50% of the final service fee is payable during engagement.
The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 2 days before the Nikah ceremony.
Failure to pay dues after a successful match may result in legal proceedings.

5 Profile & Photo Usage

You retain ownership of your profile information and photographs.
Your data will only be used for matchmaking purposes.
Photos are shared only with verified matched members through your RM.
No content will be used for advertising without written consent.

6 Verification Responsibility

NikahNamah provides profile information as submitted by members.
You are responsible for independently verifying all prospective match details.
NikahNamah shall not be held liable for inaccuracies in member profiles.

7 User Conduct

Services must be used solely for lawful matrimonial purposes.
You must not misrepresent identity or personal information.
Abusive or inappropriate behavior toward staff or members is prohibited.
You may not share or republish another member’s private information.

8 Post-Match Disclaimer

NikahNamah’s responsibility ends after facilitating introductions and matches.
Any post-engagement or post-marriage disputes remain the responsibility of involved parties.
NikahNamah does not provide legal or marital counselling services.

9 Account Suspension & Termination

Accounts violating terms may be suspended without prior notice.
No refund will be issued after termination for policy violations.
Personal data will be deleted within 30 days after account closure request.

10 Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, graphics, and software belong exclusively to NikahNamah.
Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

11 Limitation of Liability

NikahNamah shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
This includes failed matches, delays, or disputes arising after marriage.

12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed under the laws of India.
All disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Bengaluru courts, Karnataka.

13 Updates to These Terms

Terms may be updated periodically based on service or legal changes.
Significant updates will be communicated via WhatsApp or email.
Continued use of services indicates acceptance of revised terms.
